COOKIES POLICY

SECOND PARAGRAPH OF ARTICLE 22 OF THE LSSI

2. Service providers may use data storage and retrieval devices on the recipients’ terminal equipment, provided that the recipients have given their consent after being provided with clear and comprehensive information about their use, particularly regarding the purposes of data processing, in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data.

Where technically possible and effective, the recipient's consent to the processing of data may be provided through appropriate browser settings or other applications, provided that the recipient must configure these settings during installation or update through an explicit action. The above shall not prevent technical storage or access solely for the purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over a communications network.

COOKIES
1. Definition and purpose of cookies
What are cookies? A cookie is a file that is downloaded to your computer when you access certain websites. Among other functions, cookies allow a website to store and retrieve information about a user’s or their device’s browsing habits and, depending on the information they contain and how the user uses their device, they may be used to recognise the user.

2. How do cookies work?
Cookies can only store text. They cannot store personal information, nor can they be associated with an identified or identifiable individual. The data allows this website to maintain information between pages, as well as to analyse how users interact with the site. Cookies are safe because they can only store the information placed by the browser, which is either data the user has entered into the browser or included in the page request. Cookies cannot execute code or be used to access your computer. If a website encrypts cookie information, only that website can read the information.

3. What types of cookies does this website use?
Cookies on this website may be classified as follows:

a. Types of cookies according to the entity managing them

First-party cookies: These are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a device or domain managed by the publisher and from which the requested service is provided.

Third-party cookies: These are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a device or domain not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes data obtained via cookies.

If cookies are installed from a device or domain managed by the publisher, but the information collected is managed by a third party, they cannot be considered first-party cookies.

b. Types of cookies based on the length of time they remain active

Session cookies: These are designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are typically used to store information only for the duration of the requested service in a single session.

Persistent cookies: These allow data to remain stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a defined period by the cookie controller, which may range from a few minutes to several years.

c. Types of cookies according to their purpose

Technical cookies: These allow the user to browse a website, platform or application and to use the various options or services that exist on it, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted access areas, remembering the items in a shopping cart, completing the purchase process, registering for or participating in an event, using security features during browsing, storing content for video or audio streaming, or sharing content via social networks.

Personalisation cookies: These allow the user to access the service with some predefined general characteristics based on criteria on the user's terminal.

Analytical cookies: These enable their controller to monitor and analyse the behaviour of users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected via these cookies is used to measure the activity of websites, applications, or platforms, and to create browsing profiles of users in order to make improvements based on analysis of usage data.

4. How to disable or delete cookies
You can allow, block or delete cookies installed on your computer by configuring the settings of the browser installed on your device. If you do not accept cookies, it is possible that the website may not function properly.

5. Information on the identity of those using cookies
In other words, whether the information obtained through cookies is processed solely by the publisher (i.e. any provider of information society services owning the website accessible to users and using cookies for its provision), and/or by third parties contracted by the publisher to provide a service requiring the use of cookies, including identification of such third parties.

6. Informed consent
Your use of this website implies your express and unequivocal consent to the use of cookies, under the terms and conditions set out in this Cookies Policy, without prejudice to any cookie activation or deletion measures you may wish to adopt.
